KEPR-TV is looking for a Digital Content Producer / Video Editor to help drive audience growth across multiple digital platforms.

This role is responsible for publishing and producing digital content along with helping edit video for the morning news broadcast.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands what makes content perform online and can turn newsroom content into an engaging digital experience.

What youโ€™ll do:

  • Write, edit, and publish news stories to KEPRโ€™s website and mobile platforms in AP style
  • Post breaking news quickly and accurately, updating as new information comes available.
  • Optimize content for SEO and engagement
  • Craft compelling headlines, push alerts, and social platforms
  • Edit video for both linear and digital platforms
  • Reformat broadcast content into digital-first video
  • Create thumbnails and text overlays to enhance engagement
  • Ensure all video meets station standards for accuracy, quality, and branding
  • Schedule and publish content across social platforms
  • Monitor social trends and identify opportunities for viral or high-performing content
  • Collaborate with team to promote enterprise and breaking stories
