Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

The ERS Marketing Intern will work on a broad set of projects supporting the four key responsibilities of the ERS Marketing team including customer engagement, strategic research/planning, content marketing, and sales enablement. A variety of projects within those areas of responsibilities will be assigned throughout the hiring period. Projects including content development, digital marketing support, industry event execution and support, AI application, program execution, and market/competitive research. This role will work with cross-functional teams including sales, operations, legal, and EH&S teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES  

MARKETING ANALYSIS PROJECTS:

Customer information analysis - Work to improve the quality of our customer contacts within our lead management tools; Analyze our database to generate customer targets / lists to support marketing campaigns and program execution

IIR analysis - Analyze these resources to identify potential contacts based on target criteria and work with Inside Sales Team to target these accounts

Market analysis - Research and analyze the electrical testing and maintenance markets to better guide future growth planning. What is our market size? What segments/ regions/ industries present the highest CAGR for us? Develop marketing dashboards

MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS/ CONTENT DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS:

Sales wins (success stories) development and communications - Work with sellers to capture sales wins and communicate to organization; Generate customer case studies from this content

PR and article development - Work with agency and internal SMEs to develop article placements

Blogs and podcast content development - Work with team to develop new content for our blog and podcast channels

DIGITAL MARKETING PROJECTS

Execute Google Ad campaigns and email campaigns - Support the team to develop, execute and analyze Google Advertising and email campaigns

Website and SEO improvements for ERS/ HVM/ eti - Work with corporate SEO and marketing teams to help implement actions / content that improves SEO performance of our website. Our websites are an underutilized channel that we need to better leverage and optimize.

Social media - Continue to build and support our social media communities for ERS/ HVM/ eti. Create new social media content.

Virtual event execution - Plan and manage corporate presence at online virtual events including webinars.

INDUSTRY EVENT EXECUTIONL:

Industry event support - Support the team to plan and execute industry events and roadshows

Understanding of social media channels and practices especially with LinkedIn

Strong written and oral communication skills / presentation skills
