About the Role
Ready to kickstart your tech career? If you're eager to learn, humble in your achievements, and strategic in your approach, our Discovery Representative position is your ideal opportunity! The Discovery Representative Program is a dynamic, hands-on developmental experience designed for ambitious early-career professionals who are eager to learn, build relationships, and develop a strong foundation in public sector technology sales. Throughout this program, which may last up to 9 months, participants may have the opportunity to gain exposure to various business units, sales motions, vendor relationships, and customer engagement strategies that drive success across DLT Solutions.
Rotational assignments are determined based on business needs, participant performance, and organizational priorities. Exposure to specific teams, functions, or rotations is not guaranteed, and rotation opportunities, timing, and duration may be modified or discontinued at any time at the company's discretion.
You'll work alongside experienced Sales Development Representatives, Account Managers, and cross-functional teams while developing skills in prospecting, business development, pipeline management, quoting, contract vehicles, customer engagement, and public sector technology solutions. Managers will evaluate participant strengths, interests, performance, and business requirements throughout the program when considering developmental opportunities and potential future career paths.
What You'll Do
Examples of Potential Learning Experiences and Assignments
Sales & Business Development
  • Conduct outbound call campaigns and customer outreach activities to identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Follow up on marketing-generated leads and customer inquiries through phone, email, and other communication channels.
  • Support subscription renewal activities and customer engagement efforts.
  • Build relationships with customers, channel partners, resellers, vendors, and government agencies.
  • Partner with Account Managers to understand sales strategies, customer needs, and solution offerings.
  • Schedule meetings and facilitate introductions between technology partners and public sector customers.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity and activity records in CRM systems (SMaRT).

Digital Design Rotation
  • Learn DLT's role as the sole-source government aggregator for Autodesk solutions within the public sector.
  • Support government customers by providing quotes and responding to solution inquiries.
  • Collaborate with Autodesk representatives, OEMs, VAR partners, and small businesses to support customer needs.
  • Assist with renewal activities and marketing lead follow-up efforts.
  • Gain exposure to digital design technologies and public sector procurement processes.

Emerging Team Rotation
  • Assist with onboarding new vendors and supporting their integration into DLT's portfolio.
  • Learn how DLT utilizes government contract vehicles such as GSA, ESI, OMNIA, NASPO, and other procurement programs.
  • Support quote creation, order processing, and sales operations activities.
  • Track and manage sales opportunities while helping maintain forecast accuracy.
  • Participate in sales cadence calls and pipeline reviews.
  • Build foundational knowledge of vendor management and emerging technology partnerships.

Velocity Team Rotation
  • Support high-volume accounts through collaboration with internal sales teams and partner networks.
  • Assist with quote generation, order management, and customer support activities.
  • Learn partner enrollment processes, credit authorizations, and operational workflows.
  • Gain exposure to a variety of technology vendors, government customers, and procurement scenarios.
  • Participate in customer meetings, technology discussions, and RFP-related activities.

Professional Development
  • Shadow Account Managers and sales professionals to learn consultative selling techniques.
  • Participate in product, solution, and industry training programs.
  • Develop knowledge of public sector technology procurement and partner ecosystems.
  • Contribute to team initiatives and special projects that support business growth.
  • Meet and exceed established performance and development goals.

Participation in the Discovery Representative Program does not guarantee an offer of, or placement into, a permanent position with DLT Solutions/ TD SYNNEX. At the conclusion of the program-or at any point during the program-participants may be released from the role based on performance outcomes, business needs, or failure to meet DLT Solutions/TD SYNNEX policies or procedures.
Compensation: Actual annual compensation offered will be based on several variables including geographic location, work experience, education and skills/ achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
Qualified candidates can expect hourly compensation of $25.50 per hour (Roughly $53,040 annually).
