Role Description
Gen Re provides Underwriter Associates with a high level of authority, productivity and empowerment early in their career.

As an Underwriter Associate, this positionoffers a continuing variety of tasks. Underwriterswork with our clients (i.e. insurance companies) in assessing individual risk and related volatility, by utilizing data research and rating models. Underwriters negotiate the transfer of risk, pricing, and terms &conditions directly with the client. Underwritersare provided with the opportunity to travel and meet face-to-face with clients.
On the marketing or sales side, Underwriters strive to buildlasting relationships with their clients. Marketing efforts include a variety of touch points,including client entertainment, industry events,meetings/presentations, and written communication.

Salary Range
63,000.00 - 84,000.00 USD
The annual base salary range posted represents a broad range of salaries around the US and is subject to many factors including but not limited to credentials, education, experience, geographic location, job responsibilities, performance, skills and/or training.
