We are seeking a Senior IT Director - Global Value Streams (Marsh Risk Tech) to join our Marsh Risk Technology team. This role will be based in New York, London, or Dublin. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Marsh Risk Tech Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Marsh Risk CIO. You will be accountable for the technology strategy and delivery of a global value stream technology portfolio that advances Marsh Risk capabilities across the end-to-end brokerage value streams-Client, Placement, Policy Servicing, Fiduciary, and Claims. Your work will fundamentally improve how we serve clients and colleagues through modern, secure, AI-enabled, scalable technology.
We will count on you to:
  • Define and operationalize the global value stream technology strategy, aligning short- and long-term goals with business outcomes.
  • Own end-to-end delivery of the Marsh Risk value stream technology portfolio, including roadmap, funding alignment, scope, sequencing, and execution outcomes.
  • Support adoption of AI-led agile delivery at scale, ensuring strong governance, predictable delivery, and measurable business value.
  • Lead multiple high-significance programs and product increments, managing resources, dependencies, and delivery schedules.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business and operations leaders, proposing innovative technology solutions and re-imagining business processes leveraging automation, data, and AI.
  • Build and lead diverse, high-performing global teams, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence.

What you need to have:
  • Senior technology leadership experience managing large, multi-team portfolios/programs in complex, global environments.
  • Deep insurance/broker domain expertise with strong understanding of brokerage value streams (Client, Placement, Policy Servicing, Fiduciary, Claims).
  • Proven track record of delivery using product-oriented operating models and agile methodologies.
  • Strong vendor and partner management skills, including governance, delivery oversight, and commercial management.

Marsh is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one "anchor day" per week on which their full team will be together in person.
The applicable base salary range for this role is $287,300 to $430,900.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
