Our Translation Operations Department plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and high-quality delivery of language services.
Position Overview:
As a Translation Operations Department Intern at TE, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in the dynamic field of translation project management and language services coordination. You will work closely with our experienced team, assisting in the planning, execution, and monitoring of translation projects. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to learn about the translation industry and contribute to our mission of connecting people through language.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Project Managers: Collaborate with project managers to support the successful execution of translation projects, including document preparation, vendor coordination, and quality assurance checks.
  • Vendor Management: Assist in identifying and onboarding freelance translators and language experts. Maintain clear and organized vendor records.
  • Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on translated content to ensure accuracy and adherence to client-specific requirements.
  • Project Documentation: Assist in the creation and maintenance of project documentation, including project plans, timelines, and progress reports.
  • Communication: Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including clients, translators, and internal team members.
  • Research: Conduct research related to specific translation projects, industries, or language nuances to support project success.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative tasks, such as invoicing, project tracking, and file management.

Requirements
