ATI is seeking to hire a Business Transformation Analyst. This role can be based in Dallas, TX, Pittsburgh, PA or Monroe, NC and reports to the Director, Transformation Office.
The Business Transformation Analyst plays a critical role in enabling ATI's transformation agenda by providing analytical support, portfolio visibility, and administration of the company's transformation management system. This position serves as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for WAVE (or equivalent transformation-management platform), ensuring accurate initiative tracking, value capture, reporting integrity, and portfolio transparency.
The role partners closely with initiative owners, functional leaders, and the Transformation Office to drive disciplined execution, measure business impact, and provide executive-level insights that support decision-making. The successful candidate combines strong analytical capabilities, business acumen, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex operational and financial data into actionable recommendations. This role can be based in Dallas, TX, Pittsburgh, PA or Monroe, NC and reports to the Director, Transformation Office.
Key Responsibilities:
Transformation Management System Administration
Own the day-to-day administration, governance, and quality control of the transformation tracking system, including initiative setup, milestone management, value capture tracking, reporting accuracy, and user support.
Ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance with established transformation management standards and processes.
Serve as the primary point of contact for system users, providing training, troubleshooting, and ongoing support.
Maintain portfolio structures, reporting hierarchies, and system configurations to support evolving business needs.
Reporting, Analytics, and Portfolio Visibility
Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, scorecards, and executive reporting that provide clear visibility into initiative progress, financial impact, key risks, dependencies, and required leadership decisions.
Monitor portfolio performance and proactively identify trends, issues, and opportunities requiring management attention.
Produce recurring and ad hoc analyses to support transformation governance reviews, steering committee meetings, and executive updates.
Ensure reporting is accurate, timely, and aligned with leadership expectations.
Initiative Support and Performance Tracking
Partner with initiative owners to establish measurable KPIs, track progress against targets, and validate value realization.
Support development of business cases, financial analyses, and benefit tracking methodologies.
Assist teams in preparing for transformation reviews by consolidating data, evaluating performance, and highlighting key issues and recommendations.
Facilitate disciplined tracking of milestones, risks, mitigation plans, and expected outcomes.
WAVE Subject Matter Expertise
Serve as ATI's internal expert on WAVE or equivalent transformation-management tools.
Promote consistent adoption and utilization of transformation management processes and tools across the portfolio.
Identify opportunities to improve system functionality, reporting efficiency, user experience, and data quality.
Develop and maintain training materials, user guides, and best practices.
Executive Insights and Decision Support
Analyze operational and financial data to identify performance drivers, risks, and opportunities.
Transform complex information into concise, executive-ready insights and recommendations.
Support leadership decision-making through structured analysis, scenario modeling, and clear communication of findings.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the Transformation Office.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Engineering, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field required.
  • 3 years of experience in business analysis, transformation, project management office (PMO), operational excellence, finance, consulting, or related disciplines.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.
  • Experience supporting enterprise transformation, continuous improvement, or strategic initiatives preferred.
  • Experience administering portfolio management, project management, or transformation tracking systems strongly preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex operational and financial data.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and data visualization tools.
  • Experience with WAVE or similar transformation, portfolio, or project management platforms preferred.
  • Strong understanding of KPI development, performance measurement, and value capture methodologies.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of information into clear, concise executive-level communications.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work across functions and organizational levels.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and capable of operating in a dynamic transformation environment.
