Job description

Job Description
The Vice President, Transformation is accountable for driving execution of URUS' highest-priority enterprise initiatives, including delivery of the URUS 2030 strategy and successful M&A integrations. This role is responsible for ensuring strategy translates into measurable business results.
Reporting to the Chief Integration Officer, the VP serves as the central leader for enterprise execution, setting clear standards for how work gets done across URUS. This role operates at the intersection of strategy, operations, and change, aligning executive leadership, strengthening execution discipline, and ensuring accountability across complex, cross-functional initiatives.
While grounded in strong program management principles, this role moves beyond traditional PMO models. The VP defines a modern, fit-for-purpose approach to execution, one that is practical, scalable, and focused on outcomes rather than process.
The VP leads a federated model of execution, with dotted-line leadership of project and program managers across URUS, establishing consistent ways of working, strengthening delivery capability, and enabling more predictable, high-quality execution.
This role operates seamlessly from the executive level to execution on the ground, leading enterprise narratives, aligning stakeholders, and directly engaging in critical initiatives where needed to ensure success.
Responsibilities
Enterprise Strategy Execution
  • Own enterprise-level orchestration of the URUS 2030 strategy, ensuring priorities are translated into coordinated, actionable programs across brands, functions, and regions.

  • Partner with executive sponsors to define clear outcomes, sequencing, and resource alignment for strategic initiatives.

  • Act as the central point of integration across initiatives, ensuring alignment, resolving conflicts, and maintaining focus on enterprise priorities.

  • Serve as a force multiplier for leadership, accelerating execution and closing gaps between strategy and delivery.

  • Ensure alignment between Strategy 2030, business planning cycles, and enterprise initiative portfolio, including prioritization and sequencing of work

M&A Integration Leadership
  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of post-merger integrations across people, operations, technology, and governance.

  • Establish and drive integration roadmaps, milestones, and success metrics aligned to deal thesis and value creation targets.

  • Provide hands-on leadership in early-stage or high-risk integrations to stabilize and accelerate delivery.

  • Ensure integrations are executed in a way that captures value while reinforcing URUS culture and long-term strategic intent.

  • Directly intervene in high-risk or high-impact initiatives to stabilize execution, resolve barriers, and ensure delivery

Enterprise Program Governance & Execution Discipline
  • Define and implement a clear, consistent governance model for enterprise initiatives, including decision rights, escalation paths, and accountability structures aligned to RACI expectations.

  • Establish enterprise standards for program management, including planning, risk management, dependency tracking, and reporting.

  • Ensure transparency of progress, risks, and outcomes through clear, executive-ready reporting.

  • Drive discipline across initiatives while maintaining flexibility appropriate to scale and complexity.

  • Hold initiative leaders accountable for delivery commitments while providing coaching and support to improve execution capability.

Project & Program Management Leadership (Dotted-Line)
  • Provide 'dotted-line' leadership to project and program managers across URUS, regardless of reporting structure.

  • Establish and embed a harmonized approach to project and program management, including tools, templates, cadence, and expectations.

  • Build capability across the organization by coaching project leaders and strengthening execution fundamentals.

  • Create a strong community of practice to enable knowledge sharing, consistency, and continuous improvement.

  • Ensure project managers are effectively aligned to enterprise priorities and operating with clear accountability.

  • Partner closely with Finance/FP&A to align transformation reporting with financial and operational performance, ensuring clear linkage between initiatives and value realization

  • Drive integration of execution tracking tools (e.g., Achieve It) with broader performance reporting

Leadership Influence & Change Enablement
  • Serve as a visible, enterprise-wide leader for transformation, helping align and mobilize teams around strategic priorities.

  • Develop clear, compelling narratives that articulate the "why," "what," and "how" of transformation initiatives.

  • Partner closely with senior leaders to improve execution, decision-making, and change leadership practices.

  • Reinforce a culture of accountability, transparency, and follow-through across URUS global.

Value Realization & Continuous Improvement
  • Define success measures for all major initiatives, including financial, operational, and strategic outcomes.

  • Track delivery against commitments and ensure course correction when needed.

  • Capture lessons learned and continuously elevate execution maturity across the organization.

  • Strengthen URUS' overall ability to execute strategy with consistency and speed.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Engineering, Technology, or a related field required.

  • Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred, but not required

  • Executive-level experience leading enterprise transformations, large-scale programs, or strategy execution in a global, matrixed organization.

  • Demonstrated success translating strategy into action and delivering measurable outcomes.

  • Deep experience with M&A integrations, including value capture and cross-functional coordination.

  • Strong ability to influence and align senior leaders without direct authority.

  • Experience leading or scaling program management capabilities, including operating models and governance structures.

  • Strong storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to engage and align senior leaders.

  • Comfort "rolling up sleeves" to directly support high-priority initiatives or integrations when needed.

  • Strong judgment, resilience, and ability to navigate ambiguity and change.

  • Strong financial and business acumen to evaluate trade-offs, priorities, and value realization.

Leadership Profile
  • Practical, execution-focused mindset, with a bias for action and results.

  • Ability to balance structure and flexibility, applying rigor without over-engineering.

  • Exceptional communicator and storyteller, comfortable engaging the executive team and Board.

  • High resilience and sound judgment in complex, fast-changing environments.

  • Willingness to engage directly in delivery when needed to ensure critical initiatives succeed.
