Job description

Purpose:

The Training Program Manager creates and delivers cross-functional trainings, manages dynamic learning materials, and oversees new hire onboarding processes. This position will identify training needs, design and facilitate learning solutions, create process documentation, and optimize new hire onboarding to drive employee engagement.

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:

  • Create job aids, learning materials and training documentation to support cross-functional training and new hire onboarding programs

  • Build strong relationships across all levels of the organization to identify learning needs, synthesize complex information, and design learning that supports business goals and employee development

  • Maintain library of learning content

  • Review and develop training curricula

  • Record and edit training videos

  • Understand and apply adult learning principles

  • Design and deliver live and virtual trainings to associates across multiple offices

  • Attend programs in person and virtually to elevate onsite processes

  • Manage pre-boarding process for new hires and refine onboarding best practices to reduce time-to-productivity for new hires

  • Manage training calendar, schedule trainings, and coordinate subject matter expert trainers

  • Create and facilitate trainings for new hires, Community team, Content team, cross-functional groups, and company-wide updates

  • Collect and report onboarding and training data and leverage employee feedback to drive continuous improvement

  • Special projects as needed and as bandwidth allows

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years relevant work experience

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication

  • Advanced PowerPoint skills; demonstrated ability to build decks

  • Comfortable presenting to and leading discussion in both small and large groups

  • Ability to write clear and concise content that is takeaway-focused

  • Extremely detail oriented, with the ability to build and maintain spreadsheets

  • Proven track record managing multiple deadlines and synthesizing information quickly and effectively

  • Up to 15% travel required depending on office location

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 72,000 USD - 100,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
