Position Overview
We are looking for a Personal Training Manager that supports a high-performance, high-care culture that operates with speed and urgency in delivering results through member integration, programming, and development. They create a warm, kind, and hospitable club, allowing everyone to achieve their goals in a "no judgments" environment.
What You'll Do:
As the Personal Training Manager at Crunch, you will lead, develop, and support a team of certified Personal Trainers and Personal Training Sales Consultants to deliver exceptional results for our members and drive business performance. You'll be responsible for hiring, training, and managing your team, coaching them to acquire and retain clients while meeting club goals. You will oversee the CrunchOne Kickoff experience, ensure accurate administration of PT services including client programming, supplements, and progress tracking, and maintain performance data to inform strategic decisions. In this role, you'll also collaborate with club leadership, provide outstanding customer service, and ensure operational accuracy and compliance across all training activities
What Success Looks Like:
  • Builds and develops a high-performing personal training and sales team through hiring, training, ongoing coaching, and performance management
  • Consistently meets club goals by driving new client acquisition, client retention, and personal training sales through the CrunchOne Kickoff experience and team coaching
  • Upholds high standards in all personal training operations, including client programming, progress tracking, dotFIT management, supplement sales, and delivering timely, high-quality member support

About You:
You motivate others through example, maintaining high standards for execution, making sound decisions efficiently and remain accountable for outcomes. Leading from the front, you maintain structure, and address performance gaps directly and constructively.
You identify opportunities for improvement and build processes that support consistent performance. You exhibit focus through demanding, long-term responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
  • Hire, train, and manage performance of a team of qualified Personal Trainers and Personal Training Sales Consultants
  • Assist in the development and fitness expertise of all Crunch team members
  • Meet both new client acquisition and existing client retention targets for the club
  • Coach and guide direct reports on how to engage, prescribe, acquire, and retain clients
  • Conduct 1:1 meetings with direct reports to review performance, motivate, and guide to achieving individual and company goals
  • Administer and manage the CrunchOne Kickoff experience through demonstrating, coaching, and guiding with the goal of acquiring personal training clients
  • Ability to drive Crunch One Kickoff appointments and achieve weekly and monthly new client targets
  • Ensure accurate administration of PT services including, but not limited to, dotFIT program and supplements, client programming, and progress tracking
  • Maintain accurate reporting and data for insights into performance of the department
  • Isolate, align, and direct resources informed by KPIs & organizational priorities
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to all member inquiries within 24 hours
  • Report to the Managing Partner and Market PTM on key results and action plans
  • Maintain accurate time clock and personal training session utilization records for proper labor controls and integrity
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date certification/CPR records of all personal training staff

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience as a personal trainer required
  • Experience executing plans and managing KPIs required
  • Experience managing and leading a team of 3-10 employees preferred
  • Must have solid understanding of fitness industry, market and key business drivers
  • CPR/AED certification required (can be obtained within 30 days of hire)

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift or move 50 lbs
  • Physical effort required for daily duties include lifting weights, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting, and prolonged standing and walking

Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor degree preferred

Travel:
No travel required
Compensation
  • $40,000 - $70,000 uncapped income based on profit
  • Monthly and quarterly bonus opportunities
