DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Manager, NA Trade Lead, this hybrid position will be located in Rayhnam, MA (USA). Alternate Hybrid locations maybe considered at Raritan, NJ (USA); West Chester, PA (USA); Palm Beach Gardens, FL (USA); Raritan, NJ (USA.
Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business to establish a standalone orthopedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Job Overview
The Manager, NA Trade Lead is responsible for leading trade marketing strategy and execution across North America to accelerate commercial growth and strengthen channel partner engagement. This role serves as a critical bridge between Sales and Marketing, translating brand strategies into effective trade programs that drive demand, improve execution at the channel level, and enhance customer experience. This is an exciting opportunity to shape trade strategy at scale, lead a high-impact team, and influence how DePuy Synthes delivers value to distributors and customers across the region.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of North America trade marketing strategies aligned to brand and commercial objectives.

  • Manage and develop a team of trade marketing professionals, providing coaching, performance management, and career development.

  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to translate brand strategies into effective trade programs.

  • Oversee trade marketing plans targeting distributors and channel partners, including promotions, incentives, and in-market programs.

  • Allocate resources and manage budgets to ensure timely delivery of high-quality trade marketing initiatives.

  • Review and ensure consistency, quality, and compliance of trade marketing deliverables with brand standards and stakeholder requirements.

  • Monitor performance metrics and continuously improve trade marketing processes and effectiveness.

Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's degree required (Business, Marketing, or related field preferred)

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred

Experience and Skills
Required:
  • 7-10 years of progressive experience in trade marketing, marketing, or commercial roles, preferably within healthcare, medical devices, or a regulated industry.

  • Prior people leadership experience with demonstrated success in coaching and performance management.

  • Experience developing and executing trade programs for distributors or channel partners.

  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives, timelines, and budgets in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:
  • Experience supporting North America or regional commercial organizations.

  • Background in orthopedic, MedTech, or life sciences industries.

  • Experience driving process improvements and standardization across regions or markets.

  • Familiarity with trade spend management and performance measurement.

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly partnering with Sales and Marketing teams.

  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans.
