Title:Pricing & Trade Spend Analyst, 1st Shift Req ID: 10026City, State:Westfield, WIReports to:VP of Sales & MarketingClassification:NonexemptWork Arrangement: Flexible remote work scheduleJOB DESCRIPTION Summary: The Pricing and Trade Spend Analyst supports our sales and marketing teams in developing and maintaining profitability through Operator and Distributor pricing and trade spend. Position presents and makes recommendations to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing specific to pricing models and trade spend to enhance overall company profitability in accordance with Corporate Strategic plan. Essential Functions: Supports Vice President of Sales & Marketing with sales, budget, trade spend analysis and reportingCaptures data from Business Intelligence and Forge Analytics to develop crucial reports for management review.Review/manage discounted pricing and trade spend for Foodservice, GPO (Group Purchasing Organizations), Buying Groups, Regional chains, Retail, National chains, and Industrial channelsWorks with Sales team members to manage discounted pricing and trade spend programs on new and existing business. Evaluate (approve/deny) requests, offer solutions, suggest alternatives in a timely manner.Assists in training for field and internal staff both live and virtuallyCaptures and analyzes data for specific projects from Business Intelligence and Forge Analytics. Data is used to develop reports for review at all management levels. Position makes recommendations, per the goals of the project.Works with Brakebush Accounts Receivable team to provide data to assist with customer deductionsWorks with Finance Analyst team providing data for key financial reportsRequired Qualifications: Associates degree and two or more years of experience (working in Trade Promotion Management, Customer Service, Accounts Receivables or Sales) OR a bachelor?s degree in business (or related field).Ability to effectively manage projects and workloads while working remote/independently.,Strong analytical skills: able to assess data, recognize discrepancies or inconsistencies, make decisions, and communicate accordingly. Strong math skills and detail oriented.Strong understanding of MS Excel with the ability to build data sheets, add formulas and filter information.Strong customer-facing skills: able to convey data analytics, negotiations, and intricacies of reports with a variety of people and levels of understanding.Ability to manage multiple projects through prioritization and flexibility to change focus as needed to resolve issues.Ability to plan and manage current and future important dates and deadlines to address time specific new and renewal pricing contractsCompetent in MS Office Suite: Word, Outlook and TeamsPreferred Qualifications: General understanding of the Foodservice IndustryPrior experience with: Blacksmith/Forge Analytics, Business Intelligence, SAP, CRMStrong team playerSupervisory Responsibility: No supervisory responsibility. Work Environment: The work environment is an office environment with standard temperatures and normal office noise levels. Remote / Hybrid options available. Physical Demands: This position would be primarily sitting with little to no lifting or other physical demands. Position Type: This is a full-time non-exempt position.
