Territory Sales Manager: Los Angeles, Ontario, Bakersfield

Waterway Plastics, a leading manufacturer in the pool and spa industry for nearly 50 years, is seeking a professional Territory Sales Manager to oversee all sales and marketing activities for a multi-county area.

  • Responsible for calling on and servicing pool distribution, builders, retailers, service and sub-contractor accounts with the goal to grow their overall business with Waterway Plastics.
  • Sales and technical aptitude required, preferably in the swimming pool industry, and be willing to learn all aspects of the Waterway product line, as well as our competitor’s products.
  • 60-75% travel is required and may assist in other sales territories for various industry events.
  • 3 – 5 years of sales, service, building, distribution or retail management in the pool industry preferred.
  • Ability to perform retail and jobsite demonstrations and trainings, sometimes in front of large groups, on all Waterway Plastics product lines.
  • May be responsible for overseeing associate sales representatives, rep groups and/or technical specialists
  • Analyze and study your specific market, learn the trends and buying habits of the distributor and dealer customer base.
  • Ability to communicate, develop and maintain strong relationships with key personnel, ownership, and executive level management.
  • Will prepare specific market reports, communicate customer feedback, product related issues or ideas, and other sales reporting as directed by the Director of Sales.
  • Competitive Salary, monthly un-capped commissions on paid sales, medical benefits, car allowance, paid cell phone, and company issued credit card for all travel related expenses.
