Company Overview

The Friona Industries' Administrative Assistant will be a team player who is self-motivated, detailed oriented, with strong organizational skills.  The successful individual will be results driven, able to multi-task, and able to thrive in a quick paced environment. 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Weighing of inbound/outbound silage trucks.
  • Grade silage and run moisture tests.
  • Communicate and work with customers and stakeholders to support the needs of the feedyard.
  • Provide courteous and responsive customer service.

Qualifications and Skills

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Commodities and agricultural experience preferred but not required.
  • Excellent customer service skills, communication skills, multi-tasking,detailed and accurate record keeping is required.  Customer contact skills are necessary as well as some basic administrative experience.  Experience operating scales preferred.
