ABOUT THIS ROLE
As the Technical Documentation Business Analyst, you will play a key role in maintaining the quality, accuracy, and organization of our technical documentation. You'll collaborate closely with Subject Matter Experts, Product Managers, and Engineers to ensure our documentation keeps pace with product updates and meets a high bar for clarity and usability. This role suits a detail-oriented person who's comfortable managing multiple work streams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze feature changes and updates to determine whether new or updated documentation is needed
  • Ensure new features and updates are properly described, documented, and ticketed
  • Manage the release process for documentation updates, coordinating timing across teams to ensure changes are published accurately and on schedule
  • Partner with client-facing teams to collect, evaluate, and validate documentation bugs and update requests, ensuring they're accurately scoped and ready for assignment
  • Ensure documentation requests from internal and external sources (email, Slack, etc.) are logged and properly ticketed
  • Prioritize and manage the documentation team's ticket backlog based on impact and urgency
  • Support team planning by helping create and manage tickets across epics
  • Monitor client usage statistics to identify opportunities for documentation improvement
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to partner-facing teams
  • Manage updates to AI-driven documentation, and use AI tools to test, validate, and improve documentation quality
  • Triage changes generated by AI-driven documentation tools
  • Evaluate and recommend tools, platforms, and automations that enhance operational effectiveness across the organization
  • Map, analyze, and redesign processes to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and ensure consistency across documentation workflows

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Technical Writing, or a related technical field
  • Experience in technical documentation or business analysis within a tech or fintech environment
  • Familiarity with API structures and software development processes
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience managing projects across multiple teams
  • Proficiency with tools like Slack, JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms
  • A problem-solver with strong attention to detail and an interest in applying AI tools to documentation workflows
