Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to optimize the company's overall Talent Acquisition function by working closely with HR Business Partner (HRBPs) and hiring managers in identifying and engaging top talent for ABB. Each day, you will be primarily responsible to source, attract, and pre-screen candidates. You will also showcase your expertise by providing a pipeline of qualified candidates for the Talent Acquisition team.

The work model for the role is: hybrid/onsite/remote


This role is contributing to the US Talent Acquisition team in support of the US Energy Industries Automation division.


You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Managing End-to-End talent acquisition processes for the assigned requisitions, acting as a trusted advisor to the business hiring managers.

  • Partnering with HR leadership and business leaders to understand and solve current issues in the candidates' pipeline, candidates' experience, that can be supported or resolved through existing HR practices, processes, or policies in functional specialty.

  • Using and updating relevant recruitment, sourcing, candidate engagement and employer branding systems in support of the talent acquisition function.

  • Recommending, developing, and assisting in the implementation of special programs in recruitment, sourcing, talent attraction and employer branding.


  • Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)

  • Bachelor's or master's degree with at 5+years' professional HR experience in a high performing global organization, or an RPO (or similar) company.

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience with full lifecycle recruiting including job brief, developing sourcing/marketing plan, candidate outreach and development, offer and close.

  • Demonstrated success with various recruiting strategies and techniques, including use of digital and social media.

  • Strategic mindset with a thorough understanding of business drivers and Talent Acquisition and Advancement trends within the HUB.

  • Strong end-to-end process thinking and experience of managing change projects.

  • Knowledge of different recruitment platforms and experience leveraging the tools to source candidates as well as manage relationships.

  • Ability to network with and influence senior Business and HR leaders globally; exceptional communication skills, strong customer service orientation with proven consulting and influencing skills.
