JOB SUMMARY
The Talent Development Partner is a trusted advisor and strategic consultant to business and HR leaders, shaping and executing At Home's talent and leadership development strategy. This role connects business priorities with scalable development solutions that build capability, strengthen leadership pipeline, and drive engagement and performance across the organization.
Leveraging data, insights, and strong consultative expertise, this role designs and facilitates impactful learning experiences that prepare leaders and team members to thrive in a fast-paced, transforming retail environment. The Talent Development Partner plays a key role in cultivating a high-performing, future-ready workforce aligned with At Home's long-term goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Designs and facilitates leadership development experiences that enhance individual and organizational performance.
  • Designs, develops, and manages leadership development programs and projects that enhance individual and organizational performance.
  • Collaborates with HR Systems team to assess, recommend, manage, and implement enhancements to the Learning Management and Talent Management systems to improve usability, reporting, and learner experience.
  • Partners with HR and business leaders to enable effective execution of key talent processes, including performance management, succession planning, and development planning.
  • Partners with HR and business leaders to help teams navigate change, building readiness, resilience, and engagement through targeted learning and development initiatives.
  • Collects, analyzes, and interprets qualitative and quantitative data to assess the effectiveness of talent development programs, using insights to continuously improve program design, facilitation, and outcomes.
  • Curates and adapts purposeful leadership content across multiple levels ensuring alignment to At Home's competencies and values.
  • Facilitates impactful learning sessions and leadership events that drive engagement, self-awareness, and behavioral change across all levels of the organization.
  • Builds strong, collaborative partnerships across HR and business units to ensure alignment, consistency, and measurable outcomes in development initiatives.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert and advisor on leadership development and talent practices, sharing best practices and thought leadership to build internal capability.
  • Consults with HR Business Partners and senior leaders to identify capability gaps and recommend targeted, scalable development solutions that support business strategy.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree (HR, Communication, Organizational Development, or related discipline preferred)
  • 5+ years' experience in learning & development, training, talent or organizational development, human resources, or related field.
  • Proven ability to design and implement high-impact learning or leadership development programs in a corporate or retail environment.
  • Strong facilitation and consulting skills with the ability to engage and influence across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated experience using data and analytics to evaluate development needs and program effectiveness.
  • Experience working with HCM or learning systems (Oracle preferred).
  • Professional certification(s) such as SHRM-CP, SPHR, CPLP, Korn Ferry Leadership Architect, MBTI, DISC, or a recognized coaching credential preferred.
  • Strong business acumen, communication, and change management skills, with a focus on driving measurable outcomes.
