Reports to: Director of IT

Hours: Full-time, M-F 1st shift

Summary

At the direction of the Director of IT, provides a broad spectrum of support focused on providing services necessary to ensure the continued availability of software, data, and hardware.  A successful candidate will be a customer service minded person with an enthusiasm for learning new technology including software, hardware, and cloud (AWS).

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities

·        First line of support for all inbound requests from customers internal and external

·        Develops documentation of issues, solutions, and routine processes.

·        Responds to internal IT customer requests for assistance including but not limited to hardware, software, connectivity, and data issues (Windows, MS Office, P21 ERP, Fascor Warehouse System, VPN connectivity, etc.)

·        Supports external customers as required (B2B, Internet, Intranet, EDI)

·        Develops a thorough understanding of software solutions.

·        Assists the IT team in all functions as needed

·        Recommends, installs, and maintains, inventories desktop hardware and software, telephony hardware, and other office support devices

·        Administration and support for various software packages (i.e. anti-virus, phone system, email, etc.)

·        Excellent skills in serving IT customers utilizing clear and concise oral and written communication, follow-through, and attention to detail.

·        Effective at troubleshooting and resolving a wide range of issues

·        Ability to multi-task

·        Desire and capability to learn new applications, software, and hardware

·        Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications and Microsoft 365

·        Ability to monitor and react to system-down situations
