This role is based out of the Brooklyn, OH office, with employees expected to work onsite 3 designated in‑office days each week (Monday, Wednesday, & Thursday).

The Sr. Financial Information Systems Analyst supports the organization's financial software application (OneStream) and provides corporate departments, both within and outside of Finance, with various financial reporting. Duties include user access and permissions, configuration, testing, report building and dissemination, and dashboard creation and maintenance. Performs additional research, analysis, and reporting as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Creates systematic solutions for department projects using OneStream. Analyzes user requirements; designs, tests and implements tools to support corporate strategy and initiatives.
  • Creates new tools and reports for Finance management within OneStream to address specific business needs. Analyzes existing processes and functionality as they apply to business areas of interest; assesses data needs of user and utilizes current system data or develops new queries to provide information needed; analyzes data to ensure accuracy; provides ongoing support to users.
  • Assists advancement of the OneStream platform based on direction from Finance management
  • Manage quarterly system upgrades. Evaluate software releases for new system enhancements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Systems or Business administration
  • 5 years of experience in financial systems analysis, preferably in a health plan or financial services industry.
  • Experience with Oracle Financial systems strongly preferred.
  • Experience with OneStream preferred.

Professional Certification(s):

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.

Technical Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong working knowledge of OneStream, DB2, SQL, SQL Server, Microsoft Visual Basic, SAS and familiarity with mainframe-based accounting systems
  • Basic knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills including Access.
  • Ability to interpret and articulate standard business and financial concepts.
