Job description

About Zero Homes

Zero Homes is on a mission to rebuild American communities through healthy, affordable homes. Residential electrification is an extraordinary decarbonization opportunity - 145 million homes in the United States account for 20% of our climate emissions. But today, electrification is painful - it's too complicated, time consuming, and expensive. So we're building a new experience for homeowners, contractors, and utilities. Zero bridges the gap between the digital and the physical with a frictionless experience that makes electrification fast, easy, and affordable. Join our team to build a world class consumer experience that just so happens to electrify America.

About the Role

We are hiring four(ish) interns to join our team in Denver for Summer 2026. Interns will work alongside leadership on projects that matter. You'll be embedded in the business, working directly for a senior leader on real challenges and opportunities, and presenting your findings to the whole company at the end of the summer.

Responsibilities

  • Work as a true member of the team for 12+ weeks during Summer 2026

  • Support Zero Homes's team as the company continues to scale after our Series A raise

  • Step directly into the day-to-day rhythm of the business, gaining hands-on exposure being paired with a senior executive on a high-impact summer project

  • Depending on your background and interests, you could be working on:

    • Finance - Dig into our financial engine and identify what is driving gross margin, where cash flow can be strengthened, and how to expand our consumer financing offer as we grow. Support our new investors as they help us scale.

    • Growth hacking - Working directly for our CEO on targeted growth initiatives aimed at unlocking revenue in our core markets.

    • Operational efficiency - Identify and implement practical and innovative solutions that reduce installation time and increase contractor profitability, figuring out what makes the small businesses in our network tick.

    • Marketing - Build and execute marketing strategies that accelerate our brand presence and consumer adoption.

  • Synthesize and present your work at the end-of-summer to highlight your insights and the tangible impact you delivered

  • Collaborate across teams to solve operational challenges and leave processes better than you found them

What you bring

  • Currently pursuing a MBA or master's degree in supply chain, engineering, operations management, or a related field

  • Extreme attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Experience managing CRMs, spreadsheets, and business process tools

  • Ability to reconcile operational data with financial outcomes

  • Clear communicator who works well across teams and thrives in ambiguous or evolving environments

  • You live in Denver, CO (or are willing to relocate for the summer, as this is an in-office role)
