About the Job:
Location: Syosset-Woodbury, NY
Practice Focus: Pain Management, Sports Medicine, IV Therapy, and Medical Aesthetics including Botox, Dermal fillers and Lasers.
We are not hiring students who are looking for summer employment.
We are a premier Wellness Center offering comprehensive care across pain management, sports medicine, and aesthetic services. We are seeking a highly organized, energetic, proactive, compassionate, kind, and professional Medical Receptionist who can manage all aspects the Front Office Coordinator to support our growing practice. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Keep the office clean, manage the flow of the office, patients and phone calls, monitor and order supplies, communicate with vendors, fax/copy/scan as needed, enter patient information into the computer (EMR).
  • Greet and prepare patients for medical evaluations and treatments.
  • Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, verify insurance, medical authorizations.
  • Check-in and check-out patients with professionalism and care.
  • Maintain a smooth daily patient flow and resolve scheduling conflicts.
  • Collect co-pays and assist with billing coordination.
  • Manage inventory of medical and spa supplies.
  • Clean office, exam room, etc. (we have weekly maid service, need daily cleaning).
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Skills:
  • Highly organized, motivated, proactive and energetic.
  • Excellent communication and phone skills.
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA guidelines.
  • Friendly, yet very professional demeanor with strong customer service skills.
  • Strong computer and typing skills.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Experience in a clinical setting and terminology is highly preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred, not required:
  • Experience with EMR/EHR systems and scribing is highly preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Hindi).
  • Social media or digital marketing experience for promoting wellness services.
