Are you an experienced Journeyman Carpenter in the construction industry eager to thrive in a respected, dynamic organization? Do you have a passion and experience building high-end custom homes? Louis Ptak Construction is seeking a Journeyman Carpenters for our Subcontracting team with job sites in the Bay Area.

What you get to own:

  • Perform high-quality carpentry installations, including framing, millwork (casing, baseboard, crown molding, wall, and ceiling paneling), doors, windows, siding, cabinets, and stairs.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret construction documentation, including drawings, specifications, sketches, RFI's, and Submittals.
  • Measure, cut, and assemble materials with precision.
  • Utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Ensure all work aligns with company quality standards and project deadlines.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized job site.
  • Collaborate with foremen, project managers, and other trades to ensure seamless workflow.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve on-site carpentry issues.
  • Mentor and develop junior carpenters and apprentices

What we're looking for:

  • 10+ years of finish carpentry experience.
  • 5+ years of high-end residential experience (must be able to provide 3 references).
  • Have a full complement of tools, including specialty tools for division 6.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Shows a strong work ethic.
  • Committed to Safety.
