Job description

Standard Job Description Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Directs the preparation of bid packages, bidders' conferences, evaluation criteria, analyses and evaluation of proposals, negotiations of subcontract provisions, final selection of subcontractors, preparation of subcontact packages, and administration of subcontracts. Oversees the negotiation and coordination of additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts.

Participates with contracts administration and purchasing to develop subcontract policies and procedures. May sign supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority. This role is responsible for developing and delivering training programs for new and existing subcontract administrators, maintaining uptodate competency standards, generating portfolio performance reports, and building a talent pipeline through recruitment and supervision of interns and Operations Leadership & Development Program (OLDP) participants.

The manager also participates in highlevel business strategy discussions related to Intellectual Property (IP), Research & Development (R&D), Manufacturing Readiness and Capital initiatives. Training & Development Design, implement, and continuously improve a comprehensive onboarding curriculum for new subcontract administrators. Conduct regular refresher training sessions, webinars, and workshops to keep existing administrators current on policies, tools, and best practices.

Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics; adjust content as needed. Reporting & Analytics Generate, validate, and distribute weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on subcontract performance, compliance, risk exposure, and cost metrics across the supplychain portfolio. Develop dashboards and visualizations to support senior leadership decisionmaking.

Identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities; recommend corrective actions. Talent Acquisition & Management Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and supervision of interns and OLDP participants. Create development plans, assign meaningful project work, and mentor participants to build a sustainable pipeline of subcontract administration talent.

Coordinate with HR and university partners to promote internship and coop programs. Strategic Business Engagement Act as a subjectmatter expert in subcontract administration during crossfunctional strategy sessions covering IP protection, R&D collaborations, and capital investment projects. Provide insight on subcontractor risk, compliance, and cost implications that affect strategic decisions.

Collaborate with legal, finance, engineering, and program management teams to align subcontract administration with overall business objectives. Process Improvement & Governance Lead continuousimprovement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) to streamline subcontract administration workflows. Ensure adherence to internal policies, external regulations, and contractual obligations

Support audits and compliance reviews, preparing required documentation and corrective action plans. Basic Qualifications To be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field. Experience: 4+ years of experience in subcontract administration or procurement, with experience in a supervisory or lead role.

Demonstrated experience designing and delivering training programs. Proven track record of generating analytical reports for senior leadership. Experience mentoring or managing interns/earlycareer talent.

Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and datavisualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar). Familiarity with ERP/PLM systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Ariba). Knowledge of contract management software and subcontractor riskassessment tools

Ability to translate complex technical information into businessfriendly language. Other: Willingness to travel up to 15% for site visits, training events, or stakeholder meetings. You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Experience in aeropace, defense or high-technology environments Lockheed Martin Space Procurement Experience Exposure to Lead Six Sigma methodology Experience in hiring interns/early-career talent Analytical mindset with strong problemsolving abilities.

Collaborative team player with influence across functions. High ethical standards and understanding of LM Space compliance considerations. Pay Information GeoZone Definition: GeoZones are geographic groupings created by Lockheed Martin to align compensation ranges with regional labor markets and cost-of-labor differences across the United States.

Locations are assigned a Geo Zone based on the primary work location of the role. Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 1): $111400.00 - $206800.00 Includes metropolitan areas such as Sunnyvale CA; Pal Alto, CA; New York City metropolitan area; Newark, New Jersey; etc. Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 2): $100200.00 - $186200.00 Includes metropolitan areas such as Denver, CO; King of Prussia, PA; Stratford, CT; Moorestown, NJ; etc

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays
