Description
Job title: Strategic Growth Partnerships Manager
Location: REMOTE
Summary
The Strategic Growth Partnerships Manager will be critical in growing our expert audience. This will be done by working with large partners, creating strong partnerships with them and working to aggressively grow the number of new and existing experts in these organizations who participate with ExpertVoice. You'll be relied on to use strong prospecting skills, travel for in person presentations and strategy sessions to generate expert acquisition growth. This role will be reporting to the SVP of Revenue.
Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve aggressive quarterly growth KPIs of new expert growth with your assigned key account partners.
  • Identify new opportunities with assigned key account partners that would generate the largest impact on expert growth.
  • Identify new potential target partners that could become key partners in the future and prospect them in order to build a formal relationship.
  • Contribute to the growth, engagement and retention strategy with assigned partners, assisting in creative partnership development, go-to-market execution and ongoing reporting, partnership activation campaigns, among other things
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (especially Marketing, Sales & CS) to identify areas of strategic growth potential and ensure the ongoing success of member (expert) acquisition. Also look to leverage current brand relationships to expedite growth.
  • Travel regularly to prospect for new partners, attend partner events and meet with existing partners to develop strong, successful relationships.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in a client-facing, quota-driven role such as business development, partnerships, account management, or sales.
  • Proven ability to prospect and build new relationships while also growing and managing existing accounts.
  • Demonstrated success working toward performance metrics or KPIs (e.g., growth targets, acquisition goals, or account expansion).
  • Strong ability to build trust and long-term relationships with external partners.
  • Comfortable operating in a role that requires both outbound prospecting (hunter mindset) and ongoing partner/account management (farmer mindset).
  • Highly self-motivated and accountable, with the ability to take ownership of a book of business and drive results in a fast-paced, lean environment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to clearly articulate a value proposition to individuals and groups.
  • Demonstrated ability to receive and apply feedback, with a growth mindset and willingness to continuously improve.
  • Naturally curious and proactive, with the ability to identify opportunities within partner organizations and drive engagement strategies.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple partners, prospects, and priorities simultaneously.
  • Comfortable using modern tools and systems such as Salesforce (or similar CRM), Google Workspace, Slack, and AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Travel is required to support partner engagement, conferences, and key events, generally averaging 20-30%, but may be more or less, as needed.

Preferred but not required:
  • Experience in membership-based business models
  • Background working with professional organizations, associations, or large member-based groups
  • Experience in industries such as sports, outdoor, fitness, or training/education communities

The approximate compensation range for this role is an OTE of $120,000 to $140,000 (annually) (which includes a base of $80k to $100k with a variable of $40k). Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications and geographic location.
