Job description

Description:

The Strategic Alliances Lead will play a pivotal role in building and nurturing partnerships with our thought leaders, patient advocacy groups, and academic institutions. This individual will focus on advancing initiatives for our CNS portfolio: Headache disorders and Parkinson's Disease (PD). By collaborating with our cross-functional teams, the Strategic Alliances Lead will drive strategic engagement efforts that support the company's mission, enhance product awareness, and deliver impactful resources for healthcare providers and patients.


Essential Functions:

  • Thought Leader Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in Headache disorders and Parkinson's disease; Collaborate with KOLs to support scientific exchange, educational programs, and awareness initiatives; Identify and prioritize opportunities for collaboration, such as advisory board follow-up, planned speaking engagements and attendance at scientific congresses
  • Patient Advocacy and Community Engagement: Serve as the regional liaison to patient advocacy organizations in the Headache disorder and Parkinson's disease space, ensuring alignment with shared goals and initiatives; Partner with advocacy groups to support educational campaigns, patient access initiatives and community outreach program; Represent the company at relevant advocacy events, conferences and forums to build awareness and strengthen relationships
  • Academic Partnerships and Neurology Fellowship Programs: Cultivate relationships with academic centers to support and expand movement disorders and headache programs; Collaborate with institutions to maximize educational resources and opportunities tailored to emerging healthcare professionals; Facilitate partnerships that align with corporate goals, enhancing the reach and impact of the company's neurology portfolio.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a resource to CNS Regional Sales Managers and sales representatives, providing strategic guidance, insights, and tools to support field-based initiatives; Work closely with Sales Training, Commercial Marketing, and Medical Affairs teams to launch impactful resources and training materials; Collaborate with Compliance to ensure all initiatives align with regulatory requirements and company policies; Partner with Commercial Operations to track and measure the success of key programs and initiatives.
  • Support for Product Launch and Portfolio Promotion: Assist in the launch and ongoing promotion of the company's new headache therapy, while supporting our existing Parkinson's Disease portfolio; Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize product awareness and uptake in both therapeutic areas.

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) Life Sciences, Business or related field - Required
  • Master Degree (MBA) - Preferred

Experience:

  • 5+ years experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, with roles in alliance management, advocacy relations, or field-based sales and leadership. 
    • Experience in Headache and/or Parkinson's disease therapeutic areas
  • 5+ years experience in cross-functional collaboration and a deep understanding of the regulatory and compliance environment in the pharmaceutical industry.

Specialized Knowledge:

  • Strong knowledge of Parkinson's Disease and/or neurology therapeutic areas is highly desirable

The base salary for this position ranges from $170,000 to $185,000 per year. In addition, Amneal offers a short-term incentive opportunity, such as a bonus or performance-based award, with this position within the first 12 months. Amneal ranges reflect the Company's good faith estimate of what Amneal reasonably believes that it will pay for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors, including but not limited to, qualifications, experience, geographic location and other relevant skills.
