Position Scope and Impact
City Year Greater Boston (CYGB) is seeking a dynamic and relationship-driven Corporate Partnerships Manager to help grow and steward the organization's corporate partners. Reporting to the Director of Corporate and Foundation Partnerships, this role will manage a portfolio of corporate donors and prospects while supporting the strategy, stewardship, and execution of CYGB's broader corporate engagement efforts.
The Corporate Partnerships Manager will play a critical role in securing philanthropic support from local and national companies through corporate sponsorships, employee engagement opportunities, and event partnerships. This individual will cultivate meaningful relationships with corporate partners, identify new funding opportunities, and ensure an exceptional donor experience through thoughtful stewardship and engagement.
Working closely with the Director of Corporate and Foundation Partnerships and Managing Director of Development, this position will help execute a comprehensive corporate fundraising strategy that supports CYGB's mission and annual fundraising goals. The Manager will also oversee sponsorship fulfillment and stewardship activities across the corporate portfolio, ensuring partners receive timely communications, recognition, impact reporting, and engagement opportunities.

Responsibilities
Portfolio Management & Corporate Fundraising
- Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate donors and prospects through strategic cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and renewal activities.
- Develop and execute individualized engagement strategies that deepen relationships and increase philanthropic support.
- Identify and cultivate new corporate partnership opportunities through prospect research, networking, and community engagement.
- Secure financial support through corporate sponsorships, employee engagement opportunities, and other partnership initiatives.
- Support the Director of Corporate Partnerships in developing strategies to grow corporate giving and diversify revenue sources.
- Partner with the Managing Director of Development and Director of Corporate Partnerships on select high-value corporate relationships and proposals.
Corporate Stewardship
- Lead the execution of stewardship activities across the corporate portfolio, ensuring partners receive timely recognition, reporting, and meaningful engagement opportunities.
- Develop customized impact reports, stewardship materials, and partner communications.
- Collaborate with program, marketing, and communications teams to create engaging partner experiences and showcase impact.
Event Sponsorships
- Partner with event teams to manage sponsorship solicitation and fulfillment for City Year's annual fundraising and engagement events.
- Build and maintain relationships with event sponsors while identifying opportunities to convert event supporters into year-round partners.
- Track sponsorship commitments, benefits, deliverables, and renewal opportunities.
Development Operations & Team Collaboration
- Maintain accurate donor and relationship records in Salesforce, including contacts, opportunities, meeting notes, proposals, and next steps.
- Support proposal development, grant materials, sponsorship packages, and donor communications.
- Conduct prospect research and maintain a healthy pipeline of new corporate prospects.
- Collaborate across the Development team to support fundraising campaigns, events, and organizational priorities.
- Represent City Year Greater Boston at corporate, community, and networking events.
- Contribute to a culture of philanthropy, collaboration, inclusion, and continuous improvement across the organization.
Organizational Initiatives & Site Support
- Support sitewide initiatives, including fundraising events, Learning & Development Days (LDDs), AmeriCorps member appreciation events, AmeriCorps member interviews, and team programs. This may include lifting up to 25 pounds of equipment/supplies and standing for up to 8 hours on event days.
- Organize, lead, and/or assist in executing special projects that may fall outside the scope of regular duties. The specific responsibilities and purpose of special projects may vary.
- Assume other tasks as delegated by supervisor.
Skills & Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Three or more years of experience in corporate fundraising/partnerships, business development, sales, account management, or a related field
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong external relationships
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Sound judgment in handling sensitive and confidential information
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced and diverse environment
- Authorized documentation to work in the United States of America
- Criminal background history clearance to work with school-age children, depending on the position
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using donor or customer relationship management software (Salesforce preferred)

Working Conditions
- Operates in a professional office setting using standard office equipment
- Will require occasional travel to donor meetings or events, City Year events and offsites, industry events, and professional development trainings
- Typical schedule: Two days working in the office, with most weeks including a remote option three days a week. This is subject to change based on role responsibilities. Work hours are Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., with occasional extended hours as needed.
- Must have reliable internet access for remote or flexible work arrangements.
Compensation and Benefits
Full-time employees are entitled to compensation commensurate with experience. The salary range for this role is $70,000-$80,000. Benefits for full-time employees include health insurance with Flexible Spending Account, paid vacation, holidays, parental leave, 401K, and more.
