POSITION OVERVIEW
The Corporate Partnerships Intern supports the Athens Rock Lobsters Corporate Sales & Partnerships team with the execution and fulfillment of corporate sponsorship agreements and related business development activities. The position assists with partner activations, game-day hospitality, fulfillment tracking, market research and preparation of sponsorship materials. This internship provides practical experience in the operational and client-service functions associated with corporate partnerships in professional sports.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Activation & Proof of Performance: Assist with setting up, monitoring, and taking photo/video documentation of corporate partner activations during home games and special events.
  • Fulfillment Tracking: Help assemble End-of-Season Partner Recap Books, compiling metrics, photos, ledgers, and proof of performance deliverables.
  • Game Day Hospitality: Greet corporate sponsors, manage VIP hospitality suites, escort partner guests, and ensure all contract terms (signage, promotions, tabling) are executed seamlessly.
  • Prospecting & Research: Conduct local market research to identify potential B2B sponsorship prospects and maintain corporate contact databases.
  • Proposal Design: Assist sales executives in drafting pitch decks, customized presentation decks, and sponsorship proposals.
