Job description

VIN IQ is hiring a Director, Strategic Partnerships to build and grow revenue through dealer agency partners and enterprise relationships. You will prospect, run discovery/demos, and progress complex, multi-stakeholder deals through evaluation and close. This is an independent contributor role (no direct reports) focused on repeatable partner growth and long-term partner revenue. The product is proven and supports a range of enterprise use cases. Reports to the CEO.

Location / Travel: Remote; occasional travel for key meetings and industry events.

Responsibilities

  • Source, close, and grow strategic partnerships with agencies and enterprise partners
  • Build and execute partner account plans (stakeholder mapping, sequencing, next steps)
  • Run full-cycle partner sales: discovery demo evaluation proposal negotiation close
  • Define evaluation/pilot success criteria and a clear path to expansion
  • Lead partner growth plans: enablement, co-selling and adoption targets
  • Maintain strong CRM hygiene and forecasting
  • Provide market feedback to inform feature development, pricing, and partner strategy

90-day outcomes

  • Ramp on product and partner use cases; run discovery and demos independently
  • Build a qualified pipeline with stakeholder maps and documented next steps
  • Advance priority partners into evaluation/pilot and proposal stages

Requirements

  • Established industry relationships ("book of business") across automotive agencies and/or enterprise partners
  • 5+ years quota-carrying B2B sales/partnerships/business development (SaaS preferred)
  • Experience selling into agencies and/or enterprise environments
  • Strong multi-stakeholder selling, executive communication, and negotiation
  • Proven ability to generate pipeline through outbound and relationships
  • Strong CRM discipline and forecasting
  • Startup-ready: high autonomy, fast pace, minimal support

Compensation

  • Base: $100,000-$140,000 (DOE)
  • OTE: $220,000-$260,000+ (uncapped)
  • Sales incentive tied to new partner/enterprise subscription revenue and expansion
