LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing organization to hire a Bilingual Payroll Specialist. This role is ideal for a payroll professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, multi-state environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional employee support. The ideal candidate will have experience processing full-cycle payroll, strong compliance knowledge, and fluency in both English and Spanish.
Key Responsibilities
  • Process full-cycle payroll for multiple entities across several operating locations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for both field and corporate employees.
  • Reconcile timekeeping records and investigate discrepancies prior to payroll submission.
  • Process new hires, terminations, pay rate changes, garnishments, benefit deductions, and other payroll changes.
  • Support quarter-end and year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation and payroll tax filings.
  • Maintain payroll accuracy while meeting strict processing deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
  • Support payroll cost allocations across multiple business entities.
  • Maintain payroll records, reconciliations, and audit-ready documentation.
  • Assist with payroll-related reporting, audits, and month-end close activities.
  • Support payroll tax compliance, unemployment filings, and regulatory requirements across multiple states.
  • Serve as the primary payroll contact for employees regarding pay, deductions, taxes, and timekeeping questions.
  • Provide payroll support and communication in both English and Spanish.
  • Translate payroll-related documents and communications for Spanish-speaking employees.
  • Partner with HR, Operations, and management teams to resolve payroll and attendance issues.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of full-cycle payroll processing experience.
  • Experience supporting multi-state and/or multi-entity payroll environments.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
  • Knowledge of payroll tax regulations, wage-and-hour laws, garnishments, and payroll compliance.
  • Experience with QuickBooks Payroll and/or similar payroll platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Pay Details: $35.00 to $38.00 per hour
