Job description

POSITION: Payroll Clerk (Bilingual-English/Spanish)

LOCATION: Bellevue, NE

PAY RANGE: Based on experience

Essential Duties

  • Process weekly payroll in accordance with company policies and payroll regulations.

  • Review employee time records for accuracy and completeness.

  • Maintain payroll records, employee earnings, deductions, garnishments, benefits, and tax withholdings.

  • Enter and update employee payroll information

  • Respond to employee payroll questions

  • Assist with payroll audits, reconciliations, and reporting requirements.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and company policies.

  • Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll and personnel information

  • Prepare payroll-related reports for management and accounting

  • Assist with year-end payroll processing including W-2 preparation and related reconciliations.

  • Support timekeeping system administration and troubleshoot payroll discrepancies.

  • Perform other accounting, administrative, or payroll-related duties as assigned.

Education

  • Associate degree in Accounting, Business, Human Resources, or related field preferred

Minimum Requirements

  • 1–3 years of payroll, accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative experience preferred
  • Experience with payroll software systems preferred (ADP, Paychex, Acumatica, etc.)
  • This position requires full-time onsite work at our office location.

Technical Skills

  • Basic understanding of payroll practices and wage/hour laws
  • Knowledge of payroll deductions, garnishments, benefits, and taxes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Strong data entry and 10-key skills with high accuracy
  • Ability to maintain confidential employee information
