In this role, you will strategically manage physical spaces to align with company goals, support project execution, and ensure seamless coordination across Engineering, Construction, and all Exyte departments globally.

You will play a critical role in defining facility space requirements, resolving routing conflicts, supporting BIM coordination, and ensuring that all spacerelated decisions align with project objectives and client expectations.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities
  • Provide facility space requirements and define main functional facility routes, including plan and elevation layouts for process utility systems (main headers, submains, laterals, and distribution areas).
  • Develop space requirements and typical sections for common areas, identifying limitations such as gravity drain constraints, lowpoint concerns, maintenance clearances, and structural/seismic considerations.
  • Develop utility routes, support systems, and fixed building structures across disciplines; act as the primary point of contact for spacerelated decisions and alignment with the Space Management (SM) plan.
  • Work closely with BIM coordinators to identify and resolve routing conflicts.
  • Maintain accurate, complete schedules for all LSPs within assigned functional areas; manage individual tool budgets and schedules.
  • Participate in weekly workgroup meetings and raise issues related to client requirements, constructability, code compliance, and OSM efforts.
  • Partner with the Design Manager and/or Project Manager to resolve issues and ensure all ARs are tracked, dispositioned, and closed before package release.
  • Oversee QA/QC activities and ensure all required forms and checklists are completed.
  • Provide consultation on building and lateral layouts across multiple buildings, toolinstall areas, and specialty/support spaces.
  • Serve as liaison between preassignments, LOD/BB, and crossdiscipline design teams.
  • Maintain strong communication with vendors and customers to understand requirements and to monitor impacts on cost, quality, and schedule.
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on building use, client needs, or project scope.
Show your expertise

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 8 years of experience;
OR 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree (e.g., electrician, fitter, plumber, sheetmetal worker).
  • Experience in Advanced Technology Facilities design and/or commercial construction.

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of industrial processes and BIM/VDC tools.
  • Proficiency with Navisworks, Revit, AutoCAD, and Inventor.
  • General understanding of building construction systems, constructability, materials, and industry standards.
  • Proven experience in BIM Coordination or Space Planning, preferably on large industrial construction teams.

Professional Skills

  • Ability to present ideas and solutions clearly to clients and project stakeholders.
  • Strong relationshipbuilding and communication skills with vendors and customers.
  • Ability to monitor and manage cost, quality, and impacts to the schedule.
  • Diligent, structured problemsolver with a global mindset.
