About the Role:

Aperto Property Management, Inc. is seeking a qualified Staff Accountant to join our team at the corporate office in Irvine, CA. In this role, you will assist Senior Staff Accountants oversee accounting for a regional property portfolio, as well as assist Accounts Payable and work on other assigned tasks.

What You'll Do:

  • Reconcile bank accounts
  • Tracking and recording of bank interest and fees
  • Record and track all subsidy payments received at the bank and provide updates to field staff
  • Ensures accuracy of all general ledger information
  • Assist in the reviews balance sheet accounts, income statement trends and variances
  • Prepare quarterly reserve withdrawal packages for lender approval and submission
  • Track daily cash receipts and NSF's
  • Prepare monthly distribution requests for monthly review
  • Assist Senior Accounts with specific projects as necessary

What We're Looking For:

  • Accounting and financial analysis experience (Accounting/Finance degree preferred) with the ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities
  • Yardi Voyager experience a plus
  • Property Management Accounting experience a plus
  • Excellent organizational and communications skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance degree is preferred
