About the Role: We are seeking a Assistant Manager to join our team in Richmond, CA. Our Assistant Managers complete initial and annual re-certifications for all applicants and residents in accordance with Tax Credit guidelines. The property is Tax Credit, therefore Tax Credit background is required. Our residents live where we work so excellent customer service is key!

What You'll Do:

  • Guide prospective residents through the application process, screening, and move-in, ensuring they feel welcomed from day one.
  • Coordinate with trusted contractors, define project scopes, obtaining bids, and managing work orders to maintain our properties.
  • Handle rent collection, deposit preparation, and monitor records, utilizing Yardi property management software.

What We're Looking For:

  • 2+ years of property management experience, ideally with 100+ units and tax credit properties.
  • 2+ years of compliance experience with HUD, LIHTC, Section8, Etc.
  • Expertise in using Yardi software and Microsoft Office.
  • A natural team player with strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • A proactive problem-solver who is dedicated to making our communities great places to live.
