Job description

Position Summary:
CAM Property Services is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our Janitorial/Day Porter team. This position is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments across assigned properties.
Essential Job Duties:
  • Clean and sanitize designated areas including:
    • Restrooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, corridors, stairways, locker rooms, and elevators
    • Rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies
    • Windows, walls, ceilings, furniture, and fixtures
  • Sweep, mop, scrub, polish, and vacuum floors
  • Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to disposal areas
  • Polish metal surfaces
  • Refill supplies as needed (e.g., toilet paper, soap, paper towels)
  • Comply with all safety, health, and sanitation policies and procedures
  • Use appropriate cleaning agents and equipment in accordance with OSHA and Cal/OSHA safety standards
  • Other duties as assigned within the scope of janitorial services
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands listed below are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position:
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, climb, kneel, stoop, crouch, and bend
  • Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds independently
  • Use of hands for cleaning, operating equipment, and handling materials
  • Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
