JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Analysis and Implementation- Analyze space/or medical equipment utilization data/information in project planning and making recommendations to leadership. Document as necessary and communicate related information to appropriate parties. Develop, review, and generate necessary reports. Take lead in automating existing processes or recommend changes to management. Use strong understanding of compliance guidelines and implement plans that follow all necessary guidelines. Use in-depth conceptual and working knowledge of medical equipment; providing expertise in the planning, procurement, and installation of medical equipment. Collaborate with various stakeholders, including project teams, clients, hospital personnel, and vendors, to ensure successful execution of equipment planning and implementation. Successfully support solutions of organization-level customer service issues and complaints, especially those that apply to area of specialty.
  • Communication- Develop and maintain efficient internal communication processes to support the activities of the department. Communicate across many departments regarding physical and material resources. Keep key leadership, administrative staff and other stakeholders fully informed of projected and actual developments in a timely manner. Prioritize multiple requests for information. Assemble and distribute material for project communications as necessary.
  • Space & Occupancy Analysis- Use advanced knowledge in design and construction processes to develop, maintain, and monitor complex space programs, as well as strategic move and utilization plans. Facilitate cross-functional work teams that include internal employees, technical support, operations personnel, vendor consultants, clinicians, hospital administration and end users. Provide regular project updates and status reports for Space Planning/Transition management and ensure timely escalation of issues when necessary. Solve complex problems when necessary with minimal guidance.
  • Innovation- Coordinate the refinement of internal processes and maintenance of Environments Guidelines/Equipment Standards. Act as a subject matter expert to provide guidance to others.
  • Project Improvement and Strategy: Assist in coordination of assigned projects of moderate complexity including preparing and maintaining project plans, budgets, and resource requirements. Track progress and prepared internal reports. Prepare documents to support project management and reporting. Prepare and distribute project communication to internal and external clients. Provide guidance to colleagues on strategic initiatives and implementation plans. Act as a subject matter expert on the key area of the project.

Role supports a wide variety of projects in scope and depth across the organization/system-wide.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of work experience in a related job discipline
