Job Summary
We are seeking a full-time Adult Day Care Center Social Worker Assistant (SWA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping older adults to navigate challenging situations and improve their overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in navigating social services and resources available to participants
- Provide support to individuals with diverse background and needs
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Offer counseling and support services
- Implement workforce development programs to empower clients for sustainable employment
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field ( Gerontology/ Social Work/ Sociology)
- Bilingual in Chinese or Cantonese speaking preferable
- Strong teamwork ability
- Strong skills in workforce development and empowering individuals for employment opportunities
