Embark on a meaningful opportunity supporting students as a school-based Social Worker in a dynamic elementary setting. Enjoy a contract role with start dates available in mid-November, December, and January—designed to fit your schedule and strengths. You'll work full-time alongside an experienced onsite Social Worker, ensuring a collaborative and supportive environment.

You’ll manage a caseload of 25-30 students, providing critical social, emotional, and behavioral support. Typical assignments involve elementary students, with select roles focusing on severe ASD classrooms—requiring empathy and a willingness to grow in challenging but rewarding settings. Your passion for making a difference and adaptability will help foster a positive school experience for every child.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree required
  • Meet school Social Worker requirements: either three 10-letter recommendations or preliminary certification in MOECS
  • Experience or openness to working in severe ASD classrooms (for December start)
  • Ability to collaborate proactively with another Social Worker onsite
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct services and interventions to students and families
