About the Job
Medstar Georgetown University Hospital's Division of Nephrology is seeking a qualified nephrologist to join our well-established academic nephrology practice in Washington, DC at 3800 Reservoir Road NW. This position offers you the opportunity to practice with a dedicated and highly trained staff of six attending physicians. It is also a home to the outpatient continuity clinics for our Nephrology fellowship training program.
In this setting, the individual selected will:
  • have your own panel of patients in our outpatient suite.
  • rotate as an attending on the inpatient nephrology acute and chronic consult service.
  • be involved in precepting and teaching of fellows, residents and students as a faculty member of the Nephrology training program.
  • could engage with the Georgetown University School of Medicine's academic mission, including faculty development programs.
  • be connected with and have access to MedStar's robust opportunities for supported scholarly activity.
