Job Description
As a Senior Analyst, Growth Strategy for The Home Depot on our Channel Management Team, the work you do will serve as a strategic advisor responsible for transforming complex business financial and operational data into actionable insights that drive growth for one of our largest retail partnerships. You will leverage advanced analytical techniques, automation, AI-enabled tools, and business strategy expertise to identify opportunities, optimize performance, and influence decisions at senior leadership levels.
This role requires an end-to-end view of business operations, financial performance, customer behavior, and growth initiatives. The Senior Analyst will partner across Account Management, Field Operations, Finance, Product, and The Home Depot leadership teams to drive strategic planning, forecasting, operational efficiency, and business transformation initiatives.
This is a hybrid role in which you will work from the retailer's headquarters at least 3 days per week.
Responsibilities:
  • Data Analysis:
  • Use advanced analytics and AI tools to turn complex data into actionable insights
  • Identify growth opportunities, performance drivers, trends, and risks through quantitative analysis
  • Translate findings into recommendations that shape planning, priorities, and growth initiatives
  • Reporting:
  • Build scalable reporting that gives timely visibility into key metrics and performance
  • Automate reporting and analysis to reduce manual effort, improve data quality, improve efficiency, improve reporting consistency, and speed decision-making
  • Create repeatable reporting frameworks that scale across accounts and business functions
  • Partner with stakeholders to turn repetitive work into scalable AI-enabled solutions
  • Develop automated dashboards for sales and performance
  • Financial Planning:
  • Develop growth analyses, forecasts, and business cases for planning and investment decisions
  • Use predictive and scenario forecasting to improve planning and proactive decision-making
  • Track progress against strategic goals and recommend adjustments as conditions change
  • Project Management:
  • Influence decisions and align senior leaders through data-driven recommendations
  • Manage ambiguity and competing priorities while driving high-impact initiatives
  • Stakeholder Leadership & Influence
  • Advise and present recommendations to senior leaders across APP and the retail partner

Qualifications
What Does Our Ideal Candidate Look Like?
  • 3-5 years as a business analyst, data analyst, consultant, or similar role.
  • Expertise in SQL, Tableau or similar tools, and large datasets; Python a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field preferred.
  • Experience extracting insights from large, complex data sources.
  • Experience using AI, automation, or workflow tools to streamline reporting, analytics, and business processes.
  • Experience using Generative AI to accelerate analysis, synthesize insights, and automate workflows.
  • Experience building forecasts, scenarios, and business cases for strategic decisions.
  • Track record reducing manual effort through automation, workflow optimization, self-service reporting, or AI solutions.
  • Ability to influence senior leaders with data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • National retail experience a major plus.

SquareTrade estimates the possible base compensation for this role, if hired in Atlanta, to be in the range: $130K-$160K (based on experience & qualifications)
