Job Description
  • As a Community Advisory GroupCoordinator, your role is to effectively plan and execute the logistics todeliver monthly meetings. This involves creating presentation materialsusing MS PowerPoint, collaborating with third-party facilitators formeeting delivery, and overseeing the project plan. Your daily tasksinclude tracking program data, addressing issues promptly, and maintaininga balance between administrative efficiency and strategic contributions tosupport the Community Advisory Group's goals.

Responsibilities
  • This position will be part of our community engagement team, currently led by a manager with onedirect report. However, additional team members may join within the nextyear as we centralize this work.
  • The team is dedicated toequitable and strategic community outreach and engagement, particularlyfocusing on underserved communities. Key initiatives for the team includemanaging and coordinating a monthly public meeting of a community advisorygroup (the primary focus of this position), handling stakeholdermanagement and communication for our income qualified bill discountprogram and contributing to energy justice advisory in utility regulatoryprocesses.
  • Planning monthly communityadvisory group meetings which includes development of presentationmaterials (msPowerPoint), working with third party facilitator on deliveryof meetings and monthly deliverables as well as managing project plan,tracking program data, and resolving issues to ensure timelines are met.
  • In essence, the day is abalance of administrative efficiency and strategic contributions tosupport the community advisory group's goals.
  • Being able to beadaptable/flexible/agile to the evolving nature of this work given theneed to work with diverse stakeholders and the general newness ofcommunity engagement within the utility.

  • Bachelor's degree in arelevant field such as project management, business administration, or arelated discipline.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years ofprogressive experience in project coordination, including experiencemanaging diverse stakeholders, people-centered initiatives and/or advisorygroups.
  • Demonstrated success inleading and coordinating people-centered projects, showcasing the abilityto engage stakeholders and drive positive outcomes.
  • Proven track record inmanaging data analytics, utilizing tools and methodologies to derivevaluable insights for informed decision-making.
  • Experience in communityengagement, demonstrating proficiency in analyzing community feedback andparticipation data.

Certification Requirements (Any Preferences):
PMP (Project Management Professional), Public Involvement or Community Engagement (Such as International Association for Public Participation (IAP2) Or Certified Community Engagement Practitioner (CCEP)
