You are in charge of planning out the project from meeting with the client about ideas and plan, to coming up with projections for timing and schedules. As the construction project engineer, you must be on site daily to ensure every member of the construction team is sticking to the designated schedule and is working safely as the project progresses.

  • Assist with project setup, including jobsite logistics planning, documentation preparation, and coordination of initial project requirements.
  • Support project closeout by organizing and compiling required documentation, ensuring all records are complete and properly filed.
  • Contribute to project coordination and project management efforts, helping to align schedules, resources, and deliverables in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Act as a client-facing representative when needed, interacting professionally with end clients and supporting clear, responsive communication.
  • Leverage Microsoft Office, including Excel, and construction software tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms to manage data and documentation.
Essential Skills
  • 3+ years of experience as a Construction Project Engineer or in a closely related construction engineering role.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, plans, and specifications.
  • Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and basic construction workflows.
  • Hands-on experience managing RFIs, submittals, and change orders in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and broader Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience using construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to support project management and project coordination activities on active construction projects.
  • High level of organization, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to documentation accuracy.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Background or experience in construction management or related disciplines.
  • Experience working on semiconductor or similarly complex, technical construction projects.
  • Familiarity with contracts and standard construction documentation processes.
  • Exposure to estimation practices, including quantity takeoffs and materials analysis.
  • Interest in specializing within a niche construction discipline and developing deep expertise over time.
  • Desire to learn, grow, and advance within an organization that emphasizes mentorship and internal career development.
