A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER

As our Construction Project Manager, you are an essential component of our business's success. From start to finish, you steer the wheel and help guide our projects to completion. In the beginning stages, you lay down the framework for the projects by developing budgets and estimates, and by creating preliminary schedules. You work closely with multiple teams and departments to ensure all permits, boundaries, and requirements are set in place before the project begins.

Throughout all stages of the project, you supervise your engineers and crews to ensure they complete high-quality work. You coordinate teams to ensure the projects are completed on time and within the budget. Periodically, you prepare agendas for various meetings with the project teams to check in on progress and to help answer questions or misunderstandings. Paying strict attention to details, you see the projects through to completion while continuously searching for ways to improve the results. You take great pride in helping our company produce grade A work!

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience in project management
  • Bachelor's degree in either construction management, civil engineering, or architecture
