Offshore Project Manager
Based in Broussard, Louisiana serving the greater Gulf of America
Position Overview:
As a Project Manager at the site level, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of various projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. You will manage the overall project scope while leading multidisciplinary teams across various trades, including electrical, piping, mechanical, civil, structural, and architectural. Your role is pivotal in maintaining the project's P&L responsibility, cost estimation, and client satisfaction.
This role will require frequent engagement with Bilfinger's Fabrication facility in Broussard, Louisiana.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Execution:
  • Lead and manage all aspects of project execution from initiation to closure.
  • Develop and implement project plans, presentation, schedules, and budgets.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements.

P&L Responsibility:
  • Monitor project financials, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with project execution.

Project Management:
  • Coordinate and oversee the work of multidisciplinary teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including scope, schedules, and risk management plans.
  • Conduct regular project meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
  • Liaising with Fabrication Facility Management personnel, Estimating Team members and Shipping/ Receiving Team members frequently
  • Frequent reporting to and engaging with client's Project Management Team

Cost Estimation:
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects, considering all factors such as labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Analyze and evaluate cost variances, implementing corrective actions as necessary.

Multidiscipline Coordination:
  • Facilitate collaboration among various trades (electrical, piping, mechanical, civil, structural, and architectural) to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Resolve conflicts and issues arising from interdisciplinary work.

Project Scope and Delivery:
  • Define and manage project scope, ensuring alignment with client expectations and requirements.
  • Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and final outcomes.

Client and Stakeholder Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Manage client expectations and ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Quarterly Management:
  • Present project status and performance metrics to senior management on a quarterly basis.
  • Prepare and deliver reports detailing project progress, challenges, and solutions.

Qualifications:
  • Offshore Project Management is required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum [5-7] years of experience in project management within the industrial services sector.
  • Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams and complex projects.
  • Strong financial acumen with P&L management experience.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
