T.I. Construction is a leading drywall and framing subcontractor serving large-scale multifamily and commercial construction projects throughout Southern California. We are known for our commitment to quality workmanship, strong field leadership, and reliable project delivery.

We are seeking an experiencedProject Managerwho can successfully lead projects from preconstruction through closeout while maintaining strong relationships with general contractors, field teams, and vendors.


Position Overview

The Project Manager is responsible for managing multiple construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. This role requires strong coordination with field foremen, superintendents, and general contractors to maintain project momentum and resolve issues proactively.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing both the operational and financial aspects of construction projects.


Key Responsibilites

Project Planning & Coordination

  • Manage projects from contract award through final completion
  • Review project plans, specifications, and scope requirements
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and milestones
  • Coordinate with general contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders
  • Identify potential conflicts and proactively develop solutions

Field Operations Support

  • Work closely with field foremen and superintendents to ensure efficient production
  • Monitor manpower levels and production progress
  • Support field teams in resolving technical or coordination issues
  • Conduct regular jobsite visits to maintain alignment between office and field operations

Financial Management

  • Track project budgets, costs, and profitability
  • Review contracts, change orders, and subcontractor agreements
  • Prepare and manage change order requests
  • Monitor billing, progress payments, and cost reporting

Schedule Management

  • Coordinate project timelines with general contractors and other trades
  • Identify schedule risks and implement corrective actions when necessary
  • Ensure manpower and material deliveries support project deadlines

Client Relations

  • Maintain strong working relationships with general contractors and project partners
  • Represent T.I. Construction in meetings and coordination discussions
  • Communicate project updates and challenges clearly and professionally


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of construction project management experience
  • Experience managing drywall, framing, or interior systems projects preferred
  • Strong understanding of construction schedules, project coordination, and jobsite operations
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Experience with budgets, cost tracking, and change order management
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Highly organized with strong problem-solving abilities
