Construction Force Services is a leading general contractor serving all over NYC. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated senior construction project manager to join our team. **Compensation depends on experience
Position Summary:
Construction Force Services is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager with 5-10 years of experience managing public/government construction projects throughout NYC and NYS. We are looking for a highly motivated professional with strong experience in public bidding, government contracts, and agency compliance. The ideal candidate will have experience managing projects with agencies such as OGS, DASNY and other public entities.
This individual will work closely with leadership to oversee projects, support operations, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure successful project delivery from pre-construction through completion.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all phases of construction projects from bidding and pre-construction through closeout
  • Develop scopes of work, estimates, budgets, schedules, and timelines for project execution
  • Manage public bid requirements, project compliance, documentation, and agency coordination
  • Proactively identify and communicate project risks, scheduling concerns, cost impacts, and opportunities for improved efficiency
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and internal teams to ensure projects stay on track
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, municipalities, and project stakeholders
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget

Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of construction project management experience with government/public works projects
  • Strong knowledge of NYC and NY State public bidding, prevailing wage, and agency compliance requirements
  • Experience with OGS, DASNY, or similar public agencies preferred
  • Strong computer and technology skills, including project management software, spreadsheets, scheduling, and document control
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
