Job Opening - Superintendent

Position Status: Full Time

Supervise & Self- Perform

Regular Work Hours: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Accountable to: Project Manager & Operations

Accountable for: Subcontractors, Carpenters & Laborers

Overview of Responsibilities:

• Managing, scheduling and coordination of subcontractors and suppliers.

• Prepare overall job schedules and 3 week look ahead schedules and be able to meet or exceed those schedules.

• Actively seek new ways to improve efficiency and streamline processes.

• Produce work in the time frames set forth by owners and project managers.

• Use diplomacy and tact when dealing with owners, architects and engineers.

• Solve challenges and onsite issues with help from design team.

• Complete carpentry and self-perform work when needed.

• Follow all local, state and OSHA safety rules and regulations mandated.

• Follow all procedures set forth by HCI handbook.

• Able to communicate with owners and architects.

Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills; proficient in reading and understanding drawings and specifications; proven past experience; supervising & leadership skills; good computer skills
