Job description

Role: Sr. FinOps Program Analyst

Location: Scottsdale, AZ preferred or Dallas, TX

Synonymous Business Title (s): Sr. Financial Analyst

Overview:

Blue Yonder is seeking a Senior Program Analyst to join the FinOps team and own our Microsoft financial relationship. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of Microsoft funding and incentive programs end-to-end - driving milestone execution, identifying and capturing new credit opportunities, and ensuring financial outcomes are accurately tracked and reported. You will work cross-functionally with Accounting, Sales, Presales, and Microsoft's partner teams, serving as the primary internal point of contact for all Microsoft financial program matters.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented finance professional who thrives in a fast-moving, program-management-intensive environment and is eager to build scalable processes from the ground up.

Candidates must be local to Scottsdale, AZ or Dallas, TX - working a very flexible mostly remote/onsite as needed schedule.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of Microsoft funding and incentive programs, including milestone scoping, internal approvals, and coordination with Microsoft to ensure timely receipt of credits.
  • Identify and develop new credit and incentive opportunities in partnership with Sales and Presales across the full deal lifecycle, including implementations and cloud migrations.
  • Track, reconcile, and maintain credit schedules against contract terms; proactively surface risks, timing issues, and optimization opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate enrollment and reporting across all applicable Microsoft partner funding and incentive mechanisms.
  • Serve as the primary internal point of contact for Microsoft financial program matters; manage day-to-day engagement with Microsoft field and partner teams.
  • Deliver regular, executive-ready reporting to FinOps leadership on credit receipt, pipeline status, and forecasts - supporting CFO-level visibility into the Microsoft relationship.
  • Partner with Accounting to ensure accurate accounting and recognition of Microsoft credits and incentives in financial statements and disclosures.
  • Build and document repeatable processes, controls, and playbooks to scale program management and improve forecast accuracy.

What We're Looking For:

Required:

  • Must have 5+ years of experience in finance analysis (FP&A), corporate finance or finance contract/vendor operations within a large enterprise environment.
  • Must have experience in project or program management, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills; comfortable engaging with Finance, Sales, Presales/Engineering, and external partners.
  • Clear, concise communicator able to translate program complexity into executive-ready reporting and recommendations.

Success Metrics/KPIs:

  • Timeliness and accuracy of credit receipt and recognition
  • Forecast accuracy for Microsoft credits and incentives
  • Number and value of captured/optimized credits and incentives
  • Reduction in at-risk credits and unresolved reconciliations
  • Quality and timeliness of executive reporting (CFO/FinOps leadership)
  • Cross-functional stakeholder satisfaction
