Job Summary:
The Program Manager is responsible for driving the planning, coordination, and execution of software release programs across product, engineering, QA, and support teams. This role ensures structured, predictable delivery of releases through strong program governance, clear communication, and alignment across cross-functional stakeholders.
The Program Manager will own release processes, improve operational efficiency, and ensure high-quality delivery of features, enhancements, and fixes across multiple products and environments. This role works on a hybrid work arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Own and manage end-to-end software release cycles across multiple products and teams
  • Drive alignment on scope, timelines, and release readiness across product, engineering, and QA
  • Ensure releases are delivered on schedule with clear accountability and minimal disruption
  • Build and maintain integrated program plans that align product roadmaps with engineering execution
  • Coordinate dependencies across development, QA, support, and external stakeholders
  • Facilitate regular release planning, status reviews, and readiness checkpoints
  • Serve as the central point of coordination for release activities across teams
  • Translate technical and product updates into clear, actionable communication for stakeholders
  • Ensure transparency on risks, timelines, and trade-offs
  • Define and standardize release management processes, workflows, and documentation
  • Improve consistency in release planning, version control, and deployment practices
  • Drive adoption of best practices in Agile delivery and release governance
  • Monitor progress against milestones, proactively identifying risks and blockers
  • Manage dependencies and critical paths to ensure successful delivery
  • Support go/no-go decisions through readiness tracking and risk assessment
  • Establish program-level metrics and reporting on release health, timelines, and outcomes
  • Provide clear and concise updates to leadership on progress, risks, and mitigation plans
  • Ensure releases follow defined governance and approval processes
  • Identify gaps and inefficiencies in release processes and drive improvements
  • Partner with teams to refine workflows, tools, and communication models
  • Foster a culture of accountability, predictability, and operational excellence

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in program management, preferably in software or SaaS environments
  • Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional release programs
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and modern software delivery practices
  • Experience with release management, deployment cycles, and production environments
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with tools such as Azure DevOps or similar platforms
