Job Description Summary:
The Sr. Program Planner/Scheduler is critical to managing Draper programs. This role is responsible for developing the Integrated Master Schedule, working with CAMs and the PM to identify all schedule dependencies. The incumbent will update status per the business rhythm, run metrics, and meet with program leadership to identify schedule slips and mitigate risks. The Program Planner/Scheduler, Senior will also act as the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and Planning best practices expert for the program and will work closely with Finance to track budget and ETCs. The incumbent in this role will act as a trusted advisor to leadership, run interpret schedule metrics to give PMs and CAMs the best information for program execution and direction, and will be the Planning subject matter expert for their programs.
This is a hybrid role out of Clearfield, UT and requires an Active Top Secret Clearance.
Job Description:
Duties/Responsibilities
  • Develops IMS, using scheduling software such as Open Plan or MS Project, incorporating all dependencies, to track the execution of the program and identify possible risks.
  • Drives program business rhythm to ensure CDRL and other reporting deadlines are met.
  • Ensures the IMS is compliant with government customer requirements throughout all program phases.
  • Ensures the IMS is resource-loaded for applicable scope with target budgets and demonstrates thorough cost and schedule integration.
  • Works with risk manager to incorporate realized risks in IMS and provide status updates monthly.
  • Supports EAC processes as they relate to the Program IMS.
  • Works closely with Program Finance to ensure cost/schedule alignment.
  • Leads the development and maintenance of the Program Master Phasing Schedule using Milestones Professional Software or similar scheduling software.
  • Implements project management processes, tools, program planning, and control practices for new pursuits and existing programs as directed by Program Planning Management.
  • Advises program leadership on schedule issues when dealing with customer/act as a schedule liaison.
  • Acts as Planning EVMS expert for the program.
  • Mentors/trains junior Planners.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills/Abilities
  • Proficient using software designed for creating and maintaining industry related schedules. (MS Project, Primavera, Open Plan, or similar scheduling software)
  • Experience in developing IMS's and/or evaluating critical path and/or workflow.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar business process
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with integration of subcontractors and operations into program plans, schedules and financial tracking.
  • Proficiency with PMX tool suite or similar program management systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, a related field or equivalent experience

Experience
  • 6 years required with Bachelor's degree; minimum 5 years suitable with graduate degree

The US base salary range for this full-time position is
$95,000.00 - $237,500.00
