About the Role

We’re partnering with a global financial services organization to find a talented Event Planner to join their team in New York City. This is a high-impact role supporting meetings, conferences, and incentive programs for a fast-paced, client-driven environment.

What You’ll Do

You’ll take ownership of events from start to finish—managing all logistics and serving as a key point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders.

  • Plan and execute meetings, conferences, and incentive programs
  • Manage all logistics including venues, travel, accommodations, and onsite execution
  • Lead RFP processes and vendor sourcing/negotiation
  • Build and manage budgets, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Create timelines, project plans, and client-facing materials
  • Serve as a trusted partner to clients—answering questions and offering recommendations
  • Coordinate across teams to ensure seamless execution
  • Oversee billing, reconciliation, and reporting
  • Support onsite execution and travel as needed

  • 5+ years of experience in event planning, meetings, or conference management
  • Experience managing complex, multi-faceted events
  • Strong vendor management and contract negotiation skills
